Bismillah. Assalamualaikum.

YEAY! Ramadan is coming. Today is 18 Syaaban 1436 Hijri and it means that 13 more days to celebrate Ramadan, the month full of blessings:) First of Ramadan of this year maybe falls on June 18th Inshaa Allah. Ya Allah I miss Ramadan so much. There will be bazaar Ramadan opened every day for the whole month and mama will prepare special dishes during iftar. hehe. But that's not the main reason I can't wait for Ramadan to come but in this month we, the Muslim people can do bounty of ibadah. Apart from the obligatory fasting, there would be tarawih prayers performed every night for the whole month. And the reward of good deeds will be multiplied. Most of the mosques all over the world will be full of Muslim people gathered for iftar and tarawih prayers. But the most awaited night that most of Muslim people are searching for is Lailatul Qadr (Night of Decree). The night that is much much much better than 1000's night. Why? Because it's the night full of blessings where the Malaikat (angels) come down to Earth. Those who are performing voluntary prayers, seeking for Allah's forgiveness, repenting from all of their sins and they did these just for the sake of Allah will be granted with a huge reward and will be forgiven Inshaa Allah. How lucky those who enliven and succeed in gaining the merits of that night. May all of us have the chance to do that Inshaa Allah. Did you know, The Sahabah pray 6 months earlier from Ramadan that Allah will prolong their life so that they can perform ibadah in that blessing month? Subhanallah. They were undoubtedly great. One of the do'a that the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. taught us to recite when the month of Rajab comes is:

'Allahumma bariklana fi rejab wa syaaban, wa balighna ramadhan'
'O Allah! Make the months of Rajab and Sha'ban blessed for us, and let us reach the month of Ramadan (i.e. prolong our life up to Ramadan, so that we may benefit from its merits and blessings)'

There's hadith said that Lailatul Qadr occurs in one of the last ten odd nights of Ramadan and some said it maybe falls on 17th of Ramadan because that is the day of Nuzul Quran, the day when the Quran was first revealed to The Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. This is due to the first ayah of surah Al-Qadr 'Indeed we sent down the Quran during the Night of Decree' [97;1] but why don't we just enliven every night of Ramadan till it comes to an end. Who knows maybe Allah chooses us to meet that sacred night. Amin ya Allah. For girls who are having their period at some days in Ramadan, though we can't perform prayers but we can recite a zikr, salawat and supplication. Indeed, Allah understands our situation. Maybe Allah will grant our do'a.

I ain't a saint nor an Islamic scholar, I have lots of flaw and there are more Islamic things that I need to learn but it's not wrong to share our knowledge isn't it because this might be one of the reasons why we enter Jannah, the reason why our book of deeds has been written with lots of good deeds, the reason why some of the non-Muslims are interested in Islam, the reason why all of our days seem so perfect and at ease, etc. I'm trying to be a good Muslim and I hope we will be one too. Inshaa Allah He will gather us in Jannah. Aminn.
That's all. Have a good day and may Allah bless us all.

p/s: first writing seems to be so interesting and fun. hehehe
